The trailer you built for my S2 8.6 is fabulous! We’ve ramp-launched for two seasons now and experienced no problems. She rolls strait and true down the ramp. In the Fall, the takeout is a snap. I’m able to transport the boat to the storage barn for the winter, eliminating lift and transportation costs. The trailer handles beautifully behind my Ford F250. Your impressive trailer draws
many comments from boaters. Most are surprised that you can trailer a sailboat this large. Workmanship is excellent. Thanks. ~ Bob Aune Middleton, WI
The trailer is perfect. We have put hundreds of road miles on her and there have been absolutely zero problems. The extendable tongue makes ramp launching easy, the keel guides line the boat up perfectly when recovering, and she tracks like she’s on rails on the highway. I love this trailer almost as much as the boat she carries!
~ Dave McFate
I am very happy with the trailer and the people at Loadmaster. ~Scott Newman
Wanted to thank you for a great experience with your
company! Everything from the quoting through the delivery and follow-up thank you letter was first class.

Did you know for most boat’s hulls you want roughly 80% of the boat’s weight to be support on or around the keel by your boat trailer. This is why it is so critical that you have a trailer built to suit your boat’s hull design. Outer bunks should be utilized just for extra stability and support.
Also, it is a good idea to contact your boat’s manufacturer to see what stipulations they have on their gel coat and hull warranty. Oftentimes they will void certain warranties if you place your boat on a roller boat trailer or one not suitable for your boat’s hull.

I have had quite a few customers ask me lately about winterizing their boat trailer. Each trailer requires different service so I recommend contacting the manufacturer of your boat trailer. Some manufacturers prefer you to block up your trailer or remove the wheels, where others (like ours) do not require either. Check your manual or call your manufacturer to make sure you do so properly to protect the longevity of your boat trailer.
