Did you know for most boat’s hulls you want roughly 80% of the boat’s weight to be support on or around the keel by your boat trailer. This is why it is so critical that you have a trailer built to suit your boat’s hull design. Outer bunks should be utilized just for extra stability and support.
Also, it is a good idea to contact your boat’s manufacturer to see what stipulations they have on their gel coat and hull warranty. Oftentimes they will void certain warranties if you place your boat on a roller boat trailer or one not suitable for your boat’s hull.
