Oftentimes you will hear manufacturers say they build a truly custom trailer. What does this really mean? Many boat trailer manufacturers have trailers pre-built sitting on their lot and once they get an order they “adjust” the trailer to make it fit.

I just completed the quote request. I agree that when you buy a trailer from a one-size-fit’s all manufacturer you will have to be very very lucky to get something decent. I also agree that having a trailer that is fully welded and then galvanized has to be superior to the bolt together “erector set” variety.
