The trailer you built for my S2 8.6 is fabulous! We’ve ramp-launched for two seasons now and experienced no problems. She rolls strait and true down the ramp. In the Fall, the takeout is a snap. I’m able to transport the boat to the storage barn for the winter, eliminating lift and transportation costs. The trailer handles beautifully behind my Ford F250. Your impressive trailer draws

The trailer is perfect. We have put hundreds of road miles on her and there have been absolutely zero problems. The extendable tongue makes ramp launching easy, the keel guides line the boat up perfectly when recovering, and she tracks like she’s on rails on the highway. Loadmaster Trailers: What Makes Us Unique

Each boat trailer company does things differently. We all use different size components such as: axles, tires, tongue jacks, winch stands, frame sizes, bunking, braking components etc. So how is it possible to compare apples to apples?

Comparision between trailer companies can be difficult, but a picture is worth a thousand words in the trailer market. Off first glass you can notice quite a bit of difference between aluminum and steel trailers, bunks vs roller trailers and others.

Loadmaster is unique in that EACH trailer is built to order. We only use C Channel steel (either painted or galvanized) because with tube steel there is no way to prime or paint the inside, which causes internal rusting over time.

Loadmaster also only use a treated lumber, marine carpeted bunk system for hull support. Rollers can damage a fiberglass hull (some boat manufacturers will void a gel coat and/or hull warranty if their boat is set on a roller trailer).

Furthermore, Loadmaster offers endless option opportunities allowing us to truly customize the trailer to your needs. You can choose options for fresh vs salt water use, braking systems, colors/galvanizing, and many many more features to make your trailer as user friendly as desired.

Upgrades To Loadmaster Trailers

You will notice that Loadmaster has upgraded a couple of their standard features:

Rather than using 14″ C tires on our 3,500 lb. axles, we now are using 15″ C tires. These tires can carry a bit more weight and are a little bit taller.

Additionally, on our trailers with GVWR of more than 7,350 lbs., we are now using safety chains rather than safety cables. They are stronger with our heaviest cable now rated for 45,000 lbs.
