Get a Quote on a Custom Boat TrailerBecause sailboats are all so unique, we take pride in designing each trailer specifically for our customer’s needs. Typically for floating on and off, we recommend our custom bunk style support system. If you plan to have your sailboat slung on and off the trailer, you may choose from the bunk style or the screw-pad style support. Similar to our powerboat trailers, we use different combinations of axles, tires and frame sizes to provide enough payload and length for your boat and towing needs. However, you may choose your paint color or to galvanize the trailer for salt water use.

Whether your keel is a bulb, swing, full, fin, shoal, fixed, retractable or wing, we can be sure to properly support it, as well as help to guide the keel onto the trailer.

Extra tall winch stands are also standard and necessary for most sailboats. Full bunking, or adjustable screw pads are your choice. Optional features unique to sailboats include but are not limited to, a front ladder, front ladder with a mast carrier, and an extra front axle. Like powerboat trailers, you help choose the paint and pin stripe color or galvanizing, wheels, braking system and more. If you choose a bunk style sailboat trailer and plan to have it hoisted on or off the trailer, you should add the option of sling pocket cut outs in the bunking.

In order to build a sailboat trailer that fits our customer’s needs we take into account the type of launching facility and water depth the boat will be launched at. Oftentimes, an extended tongue is necessary in order to achieve enough water depth to float the boat on and off the sailboat trailer.

If you plan to use your sailboat primarily in salt water, we offer galvanizing and also, an entire Salt Water Series (galvanizing, stainless steel hardware, and fresh water brake flush kit or disc brakes.)
